Hi Team
Soical media has changed the world and every fitness 'guru' that is showing you they have:-
"The magic pill!"
"The secret to success!"
"The only way to get muscle and abs!"
It's as shame they are all 22..... I mean who wasn't skinner and more energetic at 22 years old!
It's a shame they are mostly on vitamin S... (steroids, but don't say that they are because even when they are injecting themselves with it, they still beleive they are "naturally" that muscular or lean.)
I then saw this on youtube.
It's a look at what fitness and how to get fit and healthy in the 1960s.
Over 60 years ago, they were worried about the that people were not moving enough or eating the right thing and feared for the future generations.
That was without Netflix, AI and laptops for work!
The advise hasn't changed in 60 years!
I also listened to a podcast with Tony Robbins, I have always liked watching and listening to Tony Robbins, some don't like his personality and his showmanship, however, his knowledge and the way he talks to people really cuts through to the sense of the person and helps them realise the things they need to do to kickstart a change in life, a sense of identity and help solve personal issues.
It's worth a listen on any podcast platform you subscribe you or watch it here.
The notes I took from it are:
"People need 7 things in life to feel happy
Certainty/Stability
Variety
Significance
Connection
Growth
Contribution
Once we develop a belief you will find what supports that (that is why the internet is good and bad all at the same time)
Momentum shifts everything.
Stack good things - one habit on top of another.
People get praise in public for what they have practised in private. "
What are your workouts?
I have done a lot of DIY this week and the house is looking very different, I have learned a lot and even started a plumbing course to help my knowledge and skills. It may lead to another side business and become a handy man.... we will see! I really enjoy fixing a problem and making things better for people.
I have moved into month 3 of my workout programme "Chisled Armour" It is my favourite month as it seems to just refine the muscles and I gain strength.
Saturday Morning Bootcamp is now in full swing and we have have some new faces join the team which is always great to see!
This Bootcamp will be the tougest thing you do all week so if you can get through it (even with rests) and every one leaves with a smile on their face.... the rest of your week will be easy, trust me!
So if you fancy getting your sweat on, muslce toned and fat burning come down to Charlbury Community Centre, 8 am , Saturday mornings! You may regret it while you are there but once you have finished.... there will be no regrets! it is the best saturday morning workout you will get!

What are you listening to?
I love this line up and if anything just listen to Stephen Wilson Jr' set.
Check it out
Chris
