Hi Team
It's been a while, I have had a busy few weeks, I have spent time in London for work and for pleasure and have jam packed weekends with the kids.
First off, a thank you to the bootcamp team who were very patient last week as I had to bring my 2 kids to the bootcamp as my wife was away. My son joined in a lot and helped count down the times for rest periods! so maybe he can take this bootcamp over when I'm 104 years old and decide to retire!
I went to Country to Country Music festival at the O2 in London, it is really nice and I love live music - give me a live band anywhere and I'll just sit and listen. I have loved country music since my teens and the family values, the heard work ethic, heartache, love and having fun times with friends that country music is all about is something that we all know and experience or try to live up to.
I was also in London at a conference for work and man, working in the public sector compared to the money in the private sector is jaw dropping! I had Welsh Rugby legend Jonny Davies give a motivational speech at the begining of the conference.
He has three 3 that he attributes to leadership and success.
Preparation over motivation
Brilliant Basics
Clarity of purpose
So basically, you can't be motivated to do everything everyday to succeed, you need to have the plan and follow the plan so it becomes habits, routines and then becomes part of who you are. Then even when you don't "feel" like it, you are already prepared to do it no matter what.
If you do the basics in anything right and consistently, you already beat 95% of the competition.
Make sure you know there is a reason you are doing it and keep that the reason why. Don't get distracted by the new and shiny thing. Keep focused on what you started and why.
So how do you get you dream body?
Have a plan
Forget all the fancy stuff and do the basics of eating well and moving your body
Remember the reason you are doing this and finish the plan!
So here is your plan!
Show up
Eat well - fruits, veggies, proteins, drink water coffee and tea - track your calories - Your goal bodyweight in pounds (lbs) x 13 = your daily calorie intake.
Workout 3 days a week - lift weights - Do push ups, pull ups, deadlifts, squats, triceps dips, bicep curls, shoulder press, planks - nothing more, nothing less. Make sure you pick weights that you struggle will on the 5 repetition.
Walk 10 - 15k steps a day
Be consistent
Do your best and forget the rest!
What is your workout?

I have my plan and I have restarted my chiseled Armour programme it is the 1st month and already feeling stronger and feeling good.
I have adapted my eating, I will talk about that maybe next week as it was working really well, but being busy and being away so much my eating has fallen off track a little but no panic! Just need to get back on track!

Saturday Morning is back with a bang! a great team shows up at 8am Saturday Mornings every week and it amazes me every week with the great effort and drive of the team!
If you want to join the team and become part of something special and achieve your goals come and join us!
