Hi Team
I covered another fitness class and talk about damaging my ego! 5 people that had paid to attend the class, they saw it wasn't their regular coach and came to me and said
"Your classes are too hard and I hurt for days afterwards." and literally wanted to turn away and go home.
It took some convincing but they all stayed. But at first my ego was shattered as I make my bootcamps and sessions something that everyone can do.
At that class I also had 2 people that had never been to a fitness class before and obivously were nervous and worried and I helped adapt exercises and they killed it and did amazing work to the point I could see the proud smiles on their faces and they thanked me for a great class.
So my ego was restored.
I then thought about it and I take it as a compliment that people find my classes challenging for two reasons:
If people suffer slightly with delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) after a session, I have coached them correctly in using the muscles that are meant to be worked.
If people find things challenging. - good, it's the challenge that changes us - its makes us fitter stronger and confident that you got through it.
So Saturday Morning Bootcamps are no legs, bums and tums sessions! These are bootcamps to help people change their bodies and minds!
They are to prove that people can do what they thought they couldn't.
They are for people that want to feel proud of what they just achieved and go out the rest of the week not feeling fazed as nothing can be more challenging than getting up at 8am on a Saturday and doing a bootcamp!

How to be a Warrior and Win the Morning!
Mornings are hard and sometimes feeling groggy and bouncing out of the house to win the day sometimes feels like an impossibility!
Here are a few things to do to win the morning and be a warrior!
Wake up allowing yourself 1 hour to get ready for the day.
Get washed, clean your teeth and get dressed before you go downstairs
Listen to music - don't look at your phone.
Drink of glass of water
Take a multi-vitamin
Have tea or black coffee
Snack on fruit
Eat a healthy breakfast at around 11am - Yoghurt/honey/fruit/granola.
Try it for a week and see what difference it makes - it's like a holiday routine but in your own home! and with the weather changing every morning will feel like you're on holiday!
What is your Workout?
Well, In the last blog I mentioned I have created the perfect workout for stength and muscle
I am in week 2 of the programme with a friend, who is being my test dummy and both of us have said that we are feeling rock solid and stronger.
I feel fitter and healthier now at 40 and my test dummy is coming up to his 50s and his daughters have said he looks like a super hero.
So very pleasing!
I will be looking to maybe start a group weight workout session when the spring arrives in my back garden gym! so watch this space!
Below is something to screenshot and have as your new phone background to keep you committed to doing whats best for you!

What are you listening to?
Im heading to country to country this weekend and so it's been country music all the way this week and doing a deep dive into this band.
