Hi Team
How has this hot weather been treating you?
I love the sun and warm weather, I feel like a different person when the sun is out! I feel energised in the morning and then in the afternoons and evening I feel relaxed and chilled.
I also enjoy a siesta!
The last few weeks I have been very busy at work and then evenings have flown by, I have been to a few friends houses for BBQ's which is always so nice.
I also was part of an over 40s football 6 a side tournament (I know, I look 25 years old! you are shocked that I'm 40!)....
At the bootcamp last Saturday we had 16 people as part of the team! The energy was good! the hall was hot! and the workout was a tough one!
It was great to see new faces again and everyone being so miserable and having so much fun while working out all at the same time!
We still have room for some more people to come and join the fun! So spread the word!
8am - Saturdays - Charlbury Community Centre - £8

I also went to see Robbie Williams, which I was worried about as I did not know he would be any good live, he is 51 years old now and although I went to see Springsteen who is 75 years old and can still nail a live show.... I was worried Mr Williams may have lost his edge.
But no! He is the great entertainer and showman and man, he can still sing!
So a really good gig!
This is the song that got me into Robbie Williams
What's your Workout?
I do like reading and watching videos and articles about the PE sessions that were part of the Presidents Physical Fitness programmes in the 1960s all the way to the 1980s.... And guess what obesity in children was not a problem in the US until the 1980s!
This is the President's Physical Fitness Test.
How would you do?

Maybe an idea for one of the Bootcamp sessions on Saturday Mornings - 8am at Charlbury Community Centre!
More information about the bootcamp is here

When it comes to strength and my day to day workouts I follow a similar way of working.
Heavy weights for 3 or 4 sets of 5 reps
4 exercises per workout
3 or 4 days a week.
Simple, effective, results are there and my strength is at all time high at aged 40! (I know you still can't believe it!)
