Listen to the experts and soups

Hi Team

How are you this week?

The winter is finally here in the UK, it's dark when you wake up and when you drive home from work. The car and grass are frosty and everyone is wearing coats, hats and scarves.

I'm not a winter person.

The one thing I do I enjoy in the winter are soups!

Soups are a great winter warmer, low in calories, filling and healthy for you!

I don't mean cuppa soups or that Heinz Soups. I do mean the nicer ones in the plastic containers!

With some bread, butter for dunking and some croutons! yummy!

I go through notes on my google drive and I have old workouts or links to things that I find interesting. I found a post from one of my coaching mentors, Legendary Strength Coach Dan John.

I love his advice and the way he writes. The simple advice is always the best.

Here is some of the article:-

Pretty good advice.

What are your workouts?

I am doing my second round of my workout programme "Chiselled Armour" I do think it is one of the best workout programmes. At my age it's pretty hard to keep muscle and be strong at the same time. This programme seems to be doing both on 3 days a week of liftings weights just making sure I'm eating well.

I am thinking about starting a small weight lifting group at my outdoor back garden gym but may need to wait until spring time... it gets pretty cold out there and I am known to wear thermals and and gloves when working out in the winter!

The Saturday Morning Bootcamp keeps growing with new faces becoming regulars and people really showing up and doing their best to get their workout done while everyone else is asleep!

Come on down and join the team! Every one that shows up is awesome! come and be awesome too!

What are you listening to?

I discovered Stephen Wilson Jr. This week and his gitty voice and killer guitar and vocals have killed me.

Check his album out "Son of Father"

His is an acoustic version of "Father Son"

The album won't disappoint
