Hi Team
After a week of glorious sunshine, I did not write a blog post last week as I spent a lot of time in the garden.
Over the last couple of weeks I felt a little fluffy around the the stomach and noticed a little of jiggle when I was running around my stomach.
So I went to a hut in the mountains and did some deep soul searching with no electricity and meditated 8 hours a day to get to the reason why that I had put on the extra fat around my stomach.
Not really.
I realised that I had been eating a lot more biscuits and snacking on rocky bars (how good are they?)
So what to do?
Reset.
Get back to what was working before.
Fast for the first couple of hours,
Eat more protein, fruits and veggies,
Drink more water, tea and coffee
Track my calories for a few days just to get things back on track.
Of course I will still
But not scoff half a packet of biscuits or pringles tin.
If you are looking to dial in your eating tracking your calories is the best way to start and then add in an extra 20 min walk a day. The fat will start dropping off if you start there.
If you are wondering how many calories you need to eat.
Take your goal body weight in pounds (lbs) and multiply it by 13 and that equals your calories for the day.
goal weight in pounds (lbs) x 13 = daily calorie intake
Then log it on a food tracking app like myfitnesspal.

What is your workout?
The Saturday Morning Bootcamp was fantastic last week, a tough workouts and the music was pumped up! The team did well and there was definitely fat burning, muscle toning and im sure people left with 6 packs popping through their shirts.
So if you fancy a workout on a Saturday morning and join the growing team. Come on down!

The Perfect Workout
Here is the workout I have been doing for the last two months and it has made me stronger and more toned in my 40s than ever.
This is for people with access to a gym, as weights are needed.
If you have kettlebells there are a couple of kettlebell workouts and some sprint/run workouts.
All workouts are around 20-30 mins (if you don't scroll on your phone between sets for too long)
It is a downloadable PDF for £5.

What are you listening to?

and the verdict is.... this is a pretty good chilled vibe song.
